Wortham Primary School

Our Modern Foreign Languages Ethos

To inspire all our young people at Wortham Primary School to provide a stimulating experience for learning French in class and around the school throughout their time at Wortham Primary school.

We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded the Linguamarque Gold Mark Award in July 2019.

Suffolk Linguamarque is an initiative aiming to support schools in the teaching and learning of Primary Languages such as French, Spanish & German. It provides schools with a structured approach to support the development of Primary Languages within the curriculum, in line with the government's recommendations and Programme of Studies. It encompasses all the best practice developed locally and nationally, along with a methodology to benchmark and define achievement in Primary Languages.
