At Wortham Primary School we work together to enable our children to become successful learners, to know and understand that they are valued and to prepare them for life in the local and world wide community.
We are very proud of our lively school where we take our responsibility of giving every child the best opportunity to realise their full potential very seriously.
Our children benefit from excellent teaching and we focus on good behaviour and social skills as well as academic achievement.
We are delighted that Ofsted have recognised the work of the school by awarding a rating of 'Outstanding.' Striving for excellence is part of the way we work. We have also gained Sainsbury's Games Silver Award, Gold Linguamarque (for languages) and Bronze Eco-Schools Award.
We have existed as a local primary school since 1870 and we play an active role in the community.
At Wortham Primary School grown-ups and children work together to make us brilliant, happy learners. Everyone is important and everyone learns the skills they need to be successful grown-ups (Bumblebee Class' way of saying it).
